2025 INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION
Welcome to Nashville, Questers!
Our 2025 Questers International Convention will be a celebration of new and exciting times together. We are looking to the future, to helping our organization better fulfill its mission: “Questers keep history alive by supporting preservation, restoration and education.”
May 19: On Monday, you will be welcomed upon arrival at The Inn at Opryland, our event center. Please make one of your first stops the registration table available between 1-7 p.m. Find your friends (or make new ones) to decide on a restaurant for dinner on your own - either in the hotel or at one of the many restaurants within walking distance. The State/Provincial Presidents and Organizers meeting will be held this evening at 7:30 p.m.
May 20: Following Tuesday morning’s breakfast at the hotel, board the buses to visit the Tennessee State Museum. Enjoy lunch on your own at any of the 60 food vendors at the Nashville Farmers’ Market. After lunch, hop aboard the buses for a ride to The Hermitage, home of President Andrew Jackson. Toward evening, the hotel shuttle will deliver you to Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen for a family-style meal of Southern cooking, along with a lively musical show. Then, get a good night’s rest ‘cause tomorrow’s events start out bright and early!
May 21: GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE, it’s Workshop Wednesday! Feed your body and then feed your brain. Learn what you need to know to make yours the best-ever Questers organization. The Annual Council Meeting will follow. A noon lunch will be served in the hotel. This evening’s activities include the banquet, with a Bess Bardens Seminar afterward.
May 22: Rise and shine on Thursday for breakfast at the hotel and get ready for the bus trip to tour Belmont Mansion, site of several P&R projects funded by Nashville’s own Granny White chapter. Assembly Food Hall, home to over 10 restaurants, is the venue to enjoy lunch on your own today. The buses will then take us to our next destination: The President James K. Polk Home & Museum. Official photos will be taken before dinner which, this evening, is on your own. You may choose from a couple of entertainment options: Dinner + Show on the General Jackson Showboat, or an evening at the Grand Ole Opry.
May 23: Friday might be a departure day for you. Safe travels, wherever you’re heading!
THE DEAL:
The package includes 4 nights’ lodging, 3 breakfasts, 4 tours, Tuesday evening’s Welcome Dinner, Wednesday’s Annual Council Lunch and the Banquet.
Please refer to the Convention Registration Form for prices. The rooms are priced per person. The room charge may not be split between roommates.
Please keep in mind that these plans have had to come together quickly by an enthusiastic (but inexperienced) group, and in uncharted territory. Even with our best efforts, there are bound to be learning pains. Email any questions or concerns to [email protected]. When practical, our Q&As may be reported on the news page of our website for the benefit of others.

FAQ
If I room with another Questers member, can we split the cost of the room?
No. The cost on the registration form, this year, is per person.
Can I request a roommate? Even if we send our registrations together?
Certainly, you are welcome to specify a roommate! Rooms will be assigned according to the postmark on the envelope containing your completed registration and check on a "first come, first served" basis - which is the reason that we cannot guarantee your request. To better assure having your request honored, please send one envelope containing all the forms and checks for each of you who wish to share the same room.
May I use a credit card to when registering for the 2025 convention?
No, we are not accepting credit cards for this convention.
Why aren't you accepting credit cards?
Although the ease of making purchases via credit card has been deeply ingrained into our society, vendors are now passing along the processing charges to the purchaser (many retailers minimally add 3 - 5 per cent to cover this cost). This additional "surcharge" adds significant expense for the purchaser and creates cumbersome accounting procedures for proper recording of transactions. The International Executive Board chose to return to payment by check in order to minimize your expenses and to simplify our bookkeeping procedures.
Is the nearest airport Nashville? Yes
Does the Hotel have an airport Shuttle?
No. Please arrange for transportation by taxi, Uber, or Lyft as there is no airport shuttle provided by the hotel.
Will there be lots of walking on the tours?
Yes, there will be some walking and boarding tour buses which will require some mobility.
Will there be any armchair tours?
Not this year.
Will there be any Bess Bardens seminars?
We hope to have a Bess Bardens type seminar after the banquet in place of entertainment.
I see that two evenings and two lunches are on your own. Why aren't all the evening meals and lunches included?
Two of the evening meals may be eaten at the hotel or you can leave the hotel and explore the city and find a menu that you would like to try elsewhere. The two lunches are while we are touring and we are not able to book a restaurant for the entire group to eat in a timely manner, so you can have the choice of choosing what you want for lunch at the food courts.
