Please check out the latest issue of Mary Janes Farm magazine (page 86) at your local grocer or Barnes and Noble. There is a beautiful and informative article about our organization. It prints beautifully on photo paper and would be a great publicity piece!
The Founder's Award topic for 2014 is
"Michigan's Lumber Barons".
All the gold mined in California during the 1900s created less wealth and made fewer millionaires than the trees that grew so abundantly in Michigan. The topic chosen for this year’s competition is: “Michigan's Lumber Barons” (Creating Millionaires from Trees). This subject was suggested by and chosen for the 2014 International Convention, which will be held in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Please join in and write a Founder’s Award paper. Winners will be recognized at the convention. The Founder’s Award papers are prepared following the same guidelines as study papers. These guidelines are found in the Summer Supplement of the Quester Quarterly and on the Quester website. They are also available upon request from the International Second Vice President. The Quester author’s name and address, chapter name and number should appear only on the title page and the entry must be sent to Headquarters, postmarked by March 1, 2014. Address to: Founder’s Award Entry, The Questers Headquarters, 210 Quince Street, Philadelphia PA 19107-5534
