ARE YOU A Quester?

A Quester is a curious, enthusiastic, and imaginative person with a desire to learn new things and enjoy the camaraderie of like-minded individuals. Anyone can become a Quester, and THE QUESTERS organization does not discriminate based on sex, race, or creed.

A member is excited by historical sites, museums, artifacts, and the study of past events which continue to resonate in one’s present and past experiences. Questers with collections love to show them and share their history with other Questers.

Member Benefits

  • Community

    Individual chapters hold educational and enjoyable meetings in members’ homes or in meeting rooms in public spaces. There are also regional meetings once or twice a year, where members meet in a larger venue to enjoy a meal, listen to a speaker, tour a historical site, and hold a business meeting.

  • Collector Resources

    We’ve been doing this a while so we know a thing or two about how to share your collections and restore and preserve the historic objects and places that you are passionate about. Our membership includes shared documents and resources about how to do this within your own particular state or province. You get to meet people who may be interested in a project similar to yours.

  • Leadership Opportunities

    An annual international meeting is held in a historic location with tours, speakers, and the annual business meeting. This is also an opportunity for various members to share their stories and knowledge with each other. This group is more than just collection - it’s a growth opportunity for our members to be pillars of their communities and encourage others to also play a role.

  • Friendship

    Sometimes you find lifelong friends in the most unexpected places. Imagine meeting someone who has been looking for the exact rare find you’ve owned for years or has a passion for the same historic project that you do. The stories that our histories have collected over time bring us even closer together. Our membership will likely bring you closer to your own history as well.
