We love seeing our mission come to life and in the spotlight!

A recent feature in the Times Leader celebrates the formation of a brand-new Questers chapter in St. Clairsville, Ohio. Led by local history enthusiast Terri Sable, the chapter brings together members who are passionate about learning from the past and preserving what makes their region unique.

Their goal? To build a stronger sense of place through research, education, and support for meaningful historical sites and stories.

With guidance from Ohio State President Carol Wilcox, the group has already begun exploring the hidden gems of Belmont County from historic buildings to forgotten artifacts. And they’re just getting started. “We’re trying to preserve the past for the next generation,” Sable says, echoing a sentiment shared across our entire organization.

The article highlights the power of local chapters to create real impact at the community level. Whether through tours, guest speakers, restoration projects, or collaborative events, Questers like those in St. Clairsville are breathing new life into local history and inspiring others to get involved.

As Wilcox puts it: “It’s fun to search and a joy to find.”

We couldn’t agree more.
